My cousin Kristi had another baby, and I was in town to do another newborn photo session!! The boys are starting to make a comeback in a family of 19 cousins and only five boys. The next generation now has two boys and one girl (congrats to Kristi’s twin, Kelli, who had little Millie last week. I’ll meet her in July!) This new addition was fun to photograph. Although this go-around it was a little more difficult because Jacob, who was a baby the last time you saw him, is now a very active toddler. We still got some great shots, and plan to do another session with the whole family in July. I can’t wait!!
Remember Megan? Of course you do. Her kiddos are beautiful. Her little sister Stephanie came in town for a visit with her darling baby Max, so we had to do a photo shoot! Oh my. Those cheeks and lips and eyes. What a heart breaker!

This good-looking family lives all the way out in the east valley. We met there for our morning portrait session, and the drive was totally worth it! Their neighborhood has gorgeous views of the Superstition Mountains. Who wouldn’t want to use that for a background? Thanks for a fun morning!

Megan is one of my dearest friends here in Phoenix. She’s a photographer, too, and knows the importance of good family photographs. Which is why I’m shocked we haven’t done a family session since Finn was a baby! We did photograph Maya’s home birth, but Finn was sleeping for that one : ) Oh, and we can’t forget Maya’s newborn session, but come on, she’s one an a half now! Megan needed photos for her holiday card, and brought along giant red lollipops as props. That’s right, red. It was HILARIOUS! Until we had to take them away… Thanks my loves, I had a blast!

I think you’ll probably recognize this family by now. We’ve photographed Christina’s family quite a bit, but honestly, each time I love them more! Baby Walker was quite a bit bigger this time, and even more adorable! Thanks for letting us watch your family grow!!
