The Das Gupta family gathered this winter in Phoenix for a little sunshine and a break from the cold of their home states. I caught up with them at the Arizona Biltmore for a great family portrait session. The kids were all adorable, and perfectly behaved. We had so much fun! Here’s your sneak peek. Short Jill here: Meet my new favorite little guy, Elliot. He turns one in March. This guy is all smiles, all the time. I think it’s because his parents Nancy and Jeremy are two of the funniest people I know. Nancy and I are close college friends, yet it took me roughly 11 months to get out to Los Angeles to meet her baby. Trust me, it won’t take that long to get out there again…I’m in love this little guy (not to mention, he is adorably photogenic.) Congratulations Nancy and Jeremy — an amazing marriage and a gorgeous family. Well done.

Flagstaff is more than just perfect weather and endless scenery — for Jacki Lenners it’s the ideal place to raise children. “I want them to remember the experience of growing up in Flagstaff. It’s such an amazing place…” We drove up to Flag on a perfect Saturday for a day of play on Hart Prairie Road. We fell in love with the back drop of golden Aspens. But, we were downright impressed with the Lenners family dogs — maybe the most behaved ones we’ve ever met.

Today’s post is from Short Jill: Howdy! It took five years, but the Boshears family finally traveled out to Arizona to see me and my husband, Scott. It was a chance for us to repay Joe and Jeni for all the many times we’ve crashed at their beautiful Chattanooga home. We spent a week exploring all the cool things to do in Phoenix — Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Arizona Biltmore, Musical Instrument Museum, Wild Horse Pass Resort and restaurants galore. Scott and I love hosting friends. We especially love hosting friends with a 4-year-old dressed in a Superman costume. Thanks Tilson for being such a cool kid.
